MRI Requesting Rights for GPs
As part of the Australian Government’s MRI Expansion, GPs are able to refer a small set of clinically appropriate indicators for patients under the age of 16. These items were extended in November 2013 to include patients 16 and older.
Referral
All MRI scans require a referral from your GP, Specialist or Allied Health Professional.
